Society's Breakthrough! describes a new, implementable solution for adjusting the structure of our system to dramatically transform all issues simultaneously— the environmental crisis, racism, poverty, the corporate takeover of democracy, excessive materialism, our spiritual decay, the threat of terrorism, and even more. This book describes how our system causes these issues and how we can fix it using two social innovations: 1) There are two primary social innovations in Society’s Breakthrough! the Wisdom Council -- a way to convene "We the People" for large systems like cities, corporations, or nations, and 2) Dynamic Facilitation a proven approach to helping people address difficult issues creatively and collaboratively and reaching unanimous conclusions. These innovations offer a way to transform our thinking and our level of intelligence, both collectively and individually.

When the book was first written in 2002 it was a theoretical idea. Today it is being implemented through the nonprofit organization The Center for Wise Democracy.
